I went there to do my school work experience in the ?4th? year (1994). Was quite nice there, very high tech. As i'm bored and have nothing to do i'll tell you all about it :D :D :D
Since i was there for 3 weeks i did a week in different departments. First week i was on the blue corridor i think, can't remember what that was called. what i remember there though were the good looking women  and a nice bloke (think he was called David) who OBVIOUSLY wore a wig.
Second week i was in the stationery bit (with a strange guy with a bad leg ). had to deliever mail, sort waste paper (fun fun fun) oh and i
got stuck in a lift cos the card i had didn't have clearance
Third week i was in the Media Management centre (with the mainframes and the cartridge & tape units. ooh and the neat SWISH door like on startrek ) i had the fun task of cleaning the tape heads and filing the tape reels. Still, the guys down there were okay (think they were called Dave n Malcolm, not sure though).
The best area of all though had to be the dining area, free meals paid via a swipe card, could have had anything i wanted  There was also a games room with arcade & pinball machines and snooker/pool table.
So not a bad place at all.
Which bit did you work in Frank? Or were you all over the building?
