Okay this post is kind of a notice, www.Friendsreunited.co.uk filters out web addresses and email addresses!... it doesn't show to you but anyone else who views your profile it blocks it from them.

Now not many people will know that, but I do.

I don't pay the ?5 a year subscription to send email to people unfortunatly, so it's difficult for me to contact the people I want to... <_<

The things that are filtered is 'com' and '@' instead of these put c0m and at.

Yeh, i saw that too, i looked at your notes and it'd removed the MSN, AIM and .com (from http://www.yewlandspast).

But i honestly thought that if anyone had a hint of a braincell they'd try something obvious like .com .co.uk etc etc, appears that the ppl that haven't come here but are on the FR site don't have braincells

Thanks for the reply, I believe it's helped me identify the filters... I'd like everyone to join this site because them filters make things impossible if you're not doing the ?5 a year thing. <_< fascists...

Some people are on FR but haven't put any details or anything... :( so you dunno how they're getting on at all. :angry:

Anyway I think I'll go get a hot or reasonable warm cup of coffee (cos the one I have is now cold) and I might go update my site abit...

Oh if it still isn't revealing me email address then please paste what it is showing. :D

Although people should know that it's .com or .co.uk anyway... although people in general aren't too bright, lol.... I suggest you emailing people telling them about the site... (although I guess you'll have done that already) but we need more members, I'm trying to get the word out to people to join but I can't send email on FR :rolleyes: I'd appreciate it if you emailed people who left in 97 and told them to join... :D

I found this site because you emailed it me, I think... sometimes I sign the yewlands school guestbook and you must have got my name from there...

Can't remember how I found FR, probably when they was on about it on gmtv I think....may have been abit before that and someone talking about it in yahoo chat.... can't remember. ;)

I just wanna ask how long does it take before you can start emailing people with the full membership thing for FR, I sent of a postal order of ?5 to join and it was sent thursday...... I dunno how long it'll take......I'm guessing maybe a week....or ten days... :unsure:
